Presiden Israel Peres lawat pejabat Facebook Di Menlo Park || Israeli President Peres visits Facebook HQ in Menlo Park
Presiden Israel lawat pejabat Facebook
SAN FRANCISCO, Amerika Syarikat (AS) - Presiden Israel, Shimon Peres melawat ibu pejabat Facebook di Menlo Park, California Utara kelmarin.
"Soal keamanan bukan lagi urusan pemerintah tetapi ia kini urusan rakyat," kata Peres.
Menjawab soalan Sandberg mengenai program nuklear Iran, Peres berkata, beliau tidak bermusuh dengan rakyat Iran.
Namun, pada masa yang sama Peres mengecam pentadbiran Iran kerana merancang membina senjata nuklear.

In an interview with Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg streamed live on the company's website, Peres repeatedly praised Facebook as a tool for positive social change by enabling citizens of different countries to connect.
"The matter of peace is no longer the business of governments but the business of people," Peres said. "Today the people are governing the governments. And when they begin to talk to each other, they are surprised: We should be friends."
In response to a question from Sandberg about Iran's nuclear program, Peres said he had nothing against the Iranian people. At the same time, he condemned the Iranian government as a seat of "moral corruption."
"They want to have nuclear weapon. The combination of viciousness and nuclear weapons is a real catastrophe, a real danger," he said.
Iran denies it is seeking a weapon and insists its nuclear program is for energy production and other peaceful purposes.
Peres' comments came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Barack Obama this week. The two remain at odds over the possibility of an Israeli military strike against Iran. Obama called for more time to let diplomacy work, while Netanyahu refused to rule out an attack in the near future.
In Israel, the presidency is an elected office but serves a mostly ceremonial role. The prime minister acts as the country's primary leader. Peres served as prime minister twice, once in the 1980s and once in the 1990s.
Peres' Facebook visit was part of a four-day swing through Silicon Valley to promote Israel's tech industry. Touring the region's marquee tech companies has become a rite of passage for politicians and celebrities passing through Northern California.
His California itinerary includes meetings with leading venture capitalists and Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
Obama became the first sitting head of state to visit Facebook's headquarters when he came last year for a town hall meeting and interview led by Zuckerberg.

Jutawan Facebook!! || Facebook Millionaires!!
1,000 pekerja Facebook jadi jutawan

Saud bin Nasser Al Shahry Selling His Son For $20 Million On Facebook!!
- AN (http://www.hmetro.com.my)
When you're out of work and trying to feed your family do you try to sell off one of your children for millions?
That's allegedly what Saud bin Nasser Al Shahry did after the Saudi Arabian government forced him to shut his illegal business, The Daily Mail reports.
Al Shahry allegedly advertised on Facebook that his son could be had for $20 million, the tabloid says.
He turned to trafficking when the government put the kibosh on his debt collection business. Then, welfare officials denied his requests for aid, because he's older than 35, the age limit for receiving benefits, Emirates 24/7 says.
So Al Shahry allegedly offered up his own flesh and blood online, saying later that he wanted to avoid "living in poverty," according to media reports.
Child trafficking in Saudi Arabia is illegal and the post apparently violates Facebook's content policy. (TheHuffingtonPost.com)

FACEBOOK WILL END ON MARCH 15th! is FAKE!!

Yess!! i know..it's a shock news, but is this true?? well..here are the "breaking news" that said "Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March 15th."

By J.B. Smitts @ weeklyworldnews
PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.
“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”
Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.
“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”
Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.
“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”
Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.
“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”
However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.
“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”
Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.
But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.
“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”
The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.
"
so..what the reaction from the Facebook user all around the world?? here some of what the people said :"sopheana :
If it shut down, it is so far from my friend and no longer to see the new idea. It is good way communication. "
"Cristina :
Ok, so some parents are happy about facebook shutting down. But think about reality that's how some people promote their businesses. Facebook helps keeps teens and adults in touch with the ones they care about. What about teens? We are in high school and there are forgein exchange students that we defiantly can't call or text that bill will be high! So we keep in touch through facebook the only way we can keep in touch. So maybe a few people are always on it to much but Atleast people gain ALOT outta this website. It's a whe lot better than myspace and twitter. You have to think more people than you think will be 100% upset about this.
And if this is a joke it's not funny. At all."
"Tine :
is this TRUE? Men THiNK! i know many people is using your site, but come to think of it, From the start you know that this will happen, and now your saying YOUR SHUTING IT DOWN? Damn it! :/ What the heck! come on your senses dude! FB is use for communicating others and also this site is use to communicate w/ my father and other relatives.. THINK MEN.. THINK!"
well...think again..will Mark Zuckerberg close the Facebook that he has create and make he a Young Billionaire???? ^_^ hahah..and if Mark really wanna close his Facebook...he will announce it Live on TV and not to you J.B Smitts lols..nice joke J.B Smitts.

Facebook knows when you'll break up!!
(CNN) -- Worried about when you might get dumped? Facebook knows.
That's according to a graphic making the rounds online that uses Facebook status updates to chart what time of year people are splitting up.
British journalist and graphic designer David McCandless, who specializes in showcasing data in visual ways, compiled the chart. He showed off the graphic at a TED conference last July in Oxford, England.
In the talk, McCandless said he and a colleague scraped 10,000 Facebook status updates for the phrases "breakup" and "broken up."
They found two big spikes on the calendar for breakups. The first was after Valentine's Day -- that holiday has a way of defining relationships, for better or worse -- and in the weeks leading up to spring break. Maybe spring fever makes people restless, or maybe college students just don't want to be tied down when they're partying in Cancun.
And let's hear it for cheapskates. The other big romantically treacherous time, according to the graph, is about two weeks before Christmas -- presumably as people begin pricing gifts for their significant others.
Mondays, as if they weren't bad enough, are the most likely day to break up. Summer and fall look like the safest seasons.
And, possibly showing that some people's sense of humor is more twisted than others, there's a spike in breakups on April Fool's Day.
What single day are you least likely to get a "Dear John (or Jane)" letter?
"Christmas Day," McCandless said. "Who would do that?"
